Role Overview Position: Diagnostic Sonographer Location: UAE Healthcare Setting: Hospital / Medical Center Experience Required: Minimum 2+ years of relevant sonography experience Practice Model: Multidisciplinary diagnostic imaging team Qualifications & Licensing Requirements Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiography, Medical Imaging, or a related field.
Valid MOH or SHA License/Eligibility is required.
DHA License/Eligibility holders with transfer eligibility may also be considered, subject to facility requirements.
Key Responsibilities · Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established clinical protocols and physician requests.
· Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and ensure accurate documentation of findings.
· Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures and explain examination processes professionally.
· Operate, maintain, and ensure the proper functioning of ultrasound equipment.
· Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
· Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in accordance with facility policies.
· Adhere to infection control standards, patient safety protocols, and quality assurance procedures.
· Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and organizational policies.
· Participate in continuous professional development and maintain competency in ultrasound imaging practices.
